The Mobile Maker's House
In 1982 Christian and Grethe Flensted handed over the torch and the family company Flensted Mobiles to their son Ole. They moved to Odense, to Ramsherred, and opened up The Mobile Maker's House right opposite from the house of Hans Christian Andersen. At The Mobile Maker's House, they were able to start a new chapter of their lives, building on top of their mobile adventure. Back at Frederiksminde, alongside the production of mobiles, they had started up a a shop presenting Danish quality products, ranging from ceramics, glass, knitwear, clothes, etc. The shop became very popular at Frederiksminde, but the move to Odense and setting up shop there, in a bigger city, only made more customers come in.
